Jack White Announces 2012 U.S. Tour Dates  :
Jack White of the White Stripes plans out small solo tour. It felt as if the earth shattered when I heard the news that The White Stripes where ending their music career as a band. I thought to myself, 'No more White Stripes albums?' But alas, Jack White has graced us with some solo music and a small Jack White Tour. Only a handful of 2012 Jack White Tour Dates have been announced so far, but it should be enough for all you White Stripes fans out there.

If you want to see his latest video 'Love Interruption', just scroll down and its towards the bottom of the page. His new album called Blunderbuss, is due out the end of April 2012, but if you see Jack White in concert before then, you will definitely get a sneak peak of his new music.

Jack White Announces 2012 Solo Concert Tour Dates
Jack White has released details of his first solo tour dates, set to take place starting March 2012.

The former White Stripes and member will tour a series of shows & concert dates across the US in March followed by a slot at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend on June 23-24 in London.

Recently, Jack White debuted a new song online. You can find the video below for Love Interruption. The track, entitled 'Machine Gun Silhouette', will be included as B-side to his upcoming debut solo single 'Love Interruption'.

The solo album from Jack White 'Blunderbuss', will be released on Third Man / XL Recordings on April 23. These first handful of Jack White Tour Dates are hopefully just the beginning. I know a lot of fans that want to see his concerts and they're all hoping he comes in concert near them.

Jack White, who produced and recorded the album himself, said: ''Blunderbuss' is an album I couldn't have released until now. I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name.
''These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.''

The duo, better known as The White Stripes, of Jack White and Meg White announced last February that they had no plans to record together or play live again.

They said they had come to decision to protect the band's legacy and thanked fans for supporting them “throughout the 13 plus years of The White Stripes intense and incredible career”. But you can still catch the Jack White Tour where hopefully he will play some of their best songs

Jack White Announces New Solo Album and Tour for 2012 :
It might be long time coming, but it's better late than never. Jack White just announced that he will be releasing his first solo album called Blunderbuss and that there will be a Jack White tour in 2012.

'I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name', Jack told Reuters. 'These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas'.

The former frontman of The White Stripes released the album's first single, Love Interruption. The video for it should be right above this article.

The White Stripes, the two-person band that featured Jack White and his ex-wife Meg, split up in February 2011.

Blunderbuss comes out April 24 2012 and the Jack White tour dates start in March 2012.

Jack White Biography
Jack White was born on July 9, 1975, as John Gillis. Jack, the youngest of ten children, started his musical education at the age of 5, playing a drum. As a teenager, White listened to blues and 60s rock instead of the electronica and hip hop that most of his classmates were listening to. Along with childhood friend, Dominic Suchyta, White covered some of his favorite songs on an old 4 track reel to reel recorder in his parents attic. His favorite musicians during this time were Son House and Blind Willie McTell, and he has stated many times that his favorite song of all time is Son House’s “Grinnin In Your Face”.

Jack White was accepted to a seminary school and was going to become a priest, but had just gotten an amplifier and didn’t think he would be allowed to take it with him. Rather than leave his amplifier behind, White made the decision to go to public school. He began an apprenticeship at an upholstery shop at the age of 15. After the three year apprenticeship White worked in various upholstery shops before starting his own business, which he called Third Man Upholstery. Jack White says that the business had a fair amount of customers but was never profitable.

Jack White first professional music gig was as a drummer for a Detroit band called Goober & The Peas. He played in several other local bands before forming The White Stripes with Meg White in 1997. The band played the Michigan area garage rock scene before being signed to Italy records. The band released is eponymous debut album in 1999 and followed it up a year later with the release of “De Stijl”. Their sophomore effort reached the 38th spot on Billboard Magazine’s list of top independent albums. ...  full Jack White biography
